These Oreo Cookie Balls are delicious! They are so simple to make and only require a few ingredients! They’re a great treat for a party of any kind and you’ll be able to whip them up just a couple hours before the party and have them good to go! Ill tell you how to make them now!
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Yield: about 24 balls
-8 oz. of cream cheese (That’s one bar or a small tub, generic cream cheese will work but I used Philadelphia because it’s what I already had at home!)
-A package of Oreos (I used double stuff Oreos but once again, you could use any Oreos that you prefer! I think that this recipe would be EXTRA delicious with the mint Oreos)
-1/2 tsp. of Vanilla Extract
-You’re going to first begin by smashing up all of your Oreos in a medium sized mixing bowl. I personally did it by hand and used a mashed potato masher but you could also use a food processor or really anything that will smash them up!
-Next, Take your cream cheese and put it in a bowl, soften it in the microwave. The softer your cream cheese is, the easier it will be to mix them.
-Add your ½ tsp. of vanilla to you cream cheese and then pour the mixture into your bowl with the Oreos in it. Mix everything together.
-Take a small ice cream scoop or I used a melon baller and make scoops of the Oreo mixture on a tray with wax or parchment paper on it.
-Put in the fridge or freezer for about 1 hour
-Remove them and enjoy!
*Extra ideas: You could also dip your Oreo balls in regular chocolate or white chocolate and add sprinkles or whatever you would like! They would then resemble Cake Pops!
See, that’s probably one of the EASIEST recipes you’ve made in a long time, right? I thought so too! They are delicious, so I hope you enjoy making and eating these delicious treats!
