Hello TLC Extreme Couponing viewers! I am Chrystie Vachon (I got married since the show aired!) and thank you for taking the time to check out my website after seeing me on tonight’s episode! I hope you were inspired to start saving a ton of money on your grocery bill! My motto is“If you like free…you’ll like me!”
As you saw on the show…I don’t take myself too seriously, having fun and enjoying life are part of my master plan..but when it comes to my finances I do take it really seriously! Couponing has changed my life so much and it can change yours too! Here are a few quick tips:
1. Get your hands on some coupons!: Use sites like Coupons.com, Redplum.com & SmartSource.com are a great place to get printable coupons. You can even check out which coupons will be in your Sunday Paper.
2. Sign up for Daily Deal Sites! Use sites like Groupon & Living Social for restaurant deals & services. Use Totsy for baby & clothing deals!
3. Check out our matchups Each week we break down the best deals happening at the national stores..
4. Get to know your drug stores! I do some of my best deals at drugs stores like Rite Aid, CVS & Walgreens. Get to know their Rewards programs and sign up for their rewards card to take advantage of sale prices.

I watched you! I watched you the first time it was on too. Plus i had recorded it and watched it again with my father. I’ve been trying to follow all the couponing blogs to learn how to save major money–i’ve only been doing it about a month, and can’t seem to get about 50% off the ‘food’ trips so far, but the drugstore trips have been great! Thanks so much for all the information you pack into the blog/emails/FB posts! My children are really appreciating the benefits!
I caught you for the first time last night, then dvr’ed the repeat show at 11pm! Your segment was the most enjoyable I’ve seen on the show! I might be a liitle partial because we live in the same area
I just started couponing ( 3 small trips so far) and I’m saving about 60%. Can’t believe how much money I could’ve saved all these years! Raising 8 children, it sure would’ve helped ! I had really bought into the thinking that coupons were for stuff I would never use and a waste of money.
Thank you for your Blog and tips!
Kim
Hello Chrystie, I was just wondering where do you get the binder for your coupons?
