I don’t know about you, but I am a huge online shopper! If it weren’t for couponing, I think I’d buy everything online. Between comparison shopping and the being in my pajamas…you can’t really beat it. So I thought I’d put together a list of the resources I use to save money when shopping online.
1. Ebates: Ebates is a site that has partnered with hundreds of online stores to offer cash back on your purchase. Here’s how it works: Let’s say you are going to buy something on JCPenney.com. Log into your Ebates account FIRST and then click on through JCPenney through the Ebates portal. Once you make a purchase on JCPenney cash back will automatically be added to your Ebates account within a few days.
2. RetailMeNot: Retailmenot is a website dedicated to sharing all of the latest coupon codes and free shipping codes. If there is a coupon code for a store…it WILL be on RetailMeNot. So once you are at checkout and about to make your purchase, quickly scan RetailMeNot for a coupon code for the online retailer you are about to buy from. This tactic alone has saved me hundreds of dollars!
3. CamelCamelCamel: Strange name aside, this website is a godsend if you shop on Amazon.com. If time is on your side and you can afford to wait to buy an item on Amazon, log in to CamelCamelCamel and set up a ‘watch’ for the item. You can put in the target price you’d like to pay for that item. If at anytime in the future that item is listed for the price you are willing to pay, CamelCamelCamel will send you an email alert.
4.Comparison Shop with Google: If I’m looking for a specific product, I use the Google Shopping Search Engine to help me comparison shop. You can type the product your looking for into the shopping search engine and it will bring up a list of places you can buy that item, along with the prices!

5. Ship To Store: You can save money on shipping, if your retailer has a “Ship To Store” option. Many stores like Walmart, Sears, Lowes & JCPenney will allow you to ship your purchases made online to a local store for FREE or a reduced shipped cost.
